Okay.. so it's Friday and I have only worked out once this week! Mann.. this New Year's resolution is not going so well :(
My excuses are: I haven't been feeling well and I've been getting used to my new 4 day work week schedule with earlier and later work days! Ahh.
NO EXCUSES time. I want to just wipe my slate clean and try to meet my simple goal of 3 times per week in this upcoming week!
I need to find classes and exercises that I enjoy, I think that will help me.
On this coming Monday, we are going downhill skiing which I LOVE so that will be fun. :)
Time to get serious!! Hope your new year's resolutions are going.. better than mine!!

Fitness Friday: Week 11
So... I know that part of my New Year's Resolution is to be honest... so here it is: I only worked out 2 times this week.
I don't know why working out is hard for me! Ahh. I think it is because I was working so much this week and so late. I worked 7.5 hours of overtime this week!
My goal is to work out FIVE total times next week to make up for this week and last. I think I need to make more specific goals and that will be helpful so here are my specific goals:
Workout #1: Sunday Afternoon- 30 minutes on the treadmill/ weights training
Workout #2: Monday Morning: Alaska Club Step Class
Workout #3: Tuesday Morning: Spinning Class
Workout #4: Thursday Morning: Spinning Class
Workout #5: Friday Late Morning: 30 minutes on treadmill/ bike and weights training
I think having specific goals like this will really help me to achieve those goals and know what I want to aim for in the upcoming week. This last week I did a dance cardio class, which was super fun on Monday night and then I did a workout on the treadmill and weights training yesterday. I know weight training is really good for me and I want to push myself to keep doing that.

Fitness Friday: Weeks 9 and 10
For the past 2 weeks, I worked out 5 times! It was a good two weeks, but could've been better. I missed one workout since I'm going for 3 x per week.
I did a spinning class, ran on the treadmill twice, worked out on the bike twice, and also I lifted weights after one biking session.
My goal is to increase my weight training. Today I lifted weights including: bench press, biceps, triceps, lunges, and burpees. It was tough, but I know I need to include more weight training to increase my muscle mass (Tony is teaching me this).
Goal for next week: get 4 total workouts in and include weight training in two of those workouts.
